ABOUT ARCHITECTURE
presentation
Incommun Arquitectura has until recently been focusing on calculating structures and drafting single-family housing projects. Given the multi-disciplinary nature of every architectural project and recent successes in terms of decoration, Incommun Arquitectura is now entering the field of interior design with the participation of Jacqueline Cujo and Elena Roig, founder member of Incommun, who has recently become a teacher at l’École de Dessin de Poitiers.
Elena says” The design of a building has to be rational and functional, but at the same time individual, with its own personality. I, therfore, believe that it is essential to work on a project jointly with my clients, discussing every detail of the site and every detail of the building, so that the end result fully meets their expectations. The well-respected architects such as Coderch, Tavora and Siza, are the main references that I resort to before starting any job, especially if that work is to be undertaken in the Mediterranean setting”.
